We packed up and closed up everything at Cactus Point and headed north. We went through Tucson and headed to the Phoenix suburb of Chandler and stopped at Hellevua Brewing. Our friends Paula and Ro met us there and we had a great lunch. It was nice to catch up with them and the food and beer was very tasty.

After lunch we continued our trip north and made our way to Flagstaff. The parking at the Weatherford Hotel was full but I found a spot on the street by the front door. We checked in and got a couple drink tickets. After we dropped off our stuff in our room, we went to the Zane Grey Bar. Karla got a G&T and I got a beer. We took our drinks and sat on the balcony above Aspen Ave.

When we finished our drinks we walked around Flagstaff and ended up at Dark Sky Brewing. We got in line and ordered some beer and a giant pretzel. We found some spots at the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere. My hazy IPA was the dankest hazy I have tasted and I really liked the flavor. The cheese dip with the pretzel was delicious.

After Dark Sky we walked around downtown Flagstaff and stopped in some shops. The only thing we bought was a couple tasty chocolate truffles. We kept walking and stopped at Flagstaff Brewing. They are a more traditional brewery and they did not have anything exciting on their tap list. We tried a couple beer and headed back to the hotel.

Karla rested a bit and I went out on foot again. I walked to Beaver Street Brewery. I had an American IPA that was ok and headed back to the hotel.

Karla and I went to the basement bar in the Weatherford called the Gopher Hole. We got some beers and tacos and there was a band setting up and doing sound check. The band had still not started by the time we finished our tacos and beer. We decided not to wait and called it a night.
