St. Cloud & Hackensack

Wednesday, April 17 – We were up early and had breakfast with the Zombie. We drove to my mom’s house in St. Cloud. It was good to see her and we sat and talked for a bit. We packed up some stuff that we had left in St. Cloud and headed north. We drove to our place on Widow Lake and everything looked good. Karla started a fire and I started on the water. We unloaded the truck, put stuff away and did some cleaning. We were hungry but did have a lot to eat. So we went to the Hack Muni. Not too busy. We got some Hooeys and ordered a pizza. We played some TouchTunes, ate our pizza and got more beer. When we drove back to our place we saw John’s truck at his place. We went in, John gave us a couple Bemidji Spring IPAs and we talked for a while. We went back to our place and stoked the fire. I had one more beer and we were soon asleep.

That’s it for our sixth winter away from Minnesota. 173 days. 7,423 miles. It was a good winter.
