We had a great New Year’s Eve with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. After some happy hour in old town Scottsdale, we went back to our place and grilled steaks and watched Casablanca. New Year’s day was too rainy to do much other than play dominoes and watch football. We made it out for dinner that evening for fun and good food at ZuZu. The next day our guest left and Karla and I went on a hike on the Hieroglyphic trail. It was muddy from the rain and harder than expected. And crowded. We made it to the waterfall and saw the petroglyphs. Even though it was a little disappointing, I am glad we went.

We only have one more full day here (Friday, January 6) and then we are off to Bisbee. Scottsdale has been great. It is amazing how many things we have done and how many places we have visited. Bisbee is not going to be as luxurious as Scottsdale, but it will be interesting. Look for an update next week.
