(and a little October)

After our friend Ben left, we did not have any big events in September. We worked on projects, went for walks, went on pontoon rides, and got together with family for happy hour and to watch football.

I finished my cabinet work for the year. I still have some more to do, but it will wait until next year.

We played trivia four times in September at Rendezvous Brewing and came in first place two times.

The beginning of the month was cool and we had to have a fire to keep warm. The last couple weeks have been warm and it is back to shorts and t-shirts.

We got all the boats out of the water. The nice, warm weather made us feel a little sad about taking out the boats. But our time is short, and it is better to take them out when it warm than it is to take them out when it is snowing.

The first Friday in October we played our last trivia game of the season on Rendezvous. Karla, Mike, Allison, myself and our friend Brian took first place.

That weekend we continued to put stuff away and close up cabins. We are just about ready, and tomorrow we start our journey to Arizona.
