We got back to Pine Point just before Memorial Day. We started by getting all the boats in the water and continued by working on a lot of projects.

I helped Kevin finish his sauna and started working on a storage bench for our entryway. We also worked on water softeners, painting and other projects.

Karla’s sister Kathy came to visit and we had a fun time on the pontoon and playing games. Karla and Kathy also went to Brainerd to have lunch with a friend.

We had a lot of fun playing trivia at Rendezvous Brewing. We played six times and came in first five times. The other time we came in second. We started playing with our friends Kelly and Jim, but have also had a lot of other people on our team including Kathy, Mike, Paula, Ro, and Allison.

We went to Portage Brewing in Walker and sat on the patio and listened to a couple sets by Drew Peterson.

Karla and I went on a hike on the North Country Trail. It was a little wet from recent rain, but it was a good hike in the woods. After our hike we made a quick stop at the Leech Lake Dam and then to the Bobber Bar in Cass Lake. We sat on the patio and enjoyed some delicious cream cheese, duck bacon, won-tons. And some tasty sandwiches.

There was a lot of rain in June. But there some nice days and we went on the pontoon a bunch of times.

Not much of an update for June. And we are part way in to July. But notes from July will have to wait until July is over.
