On Sunday, March 16, we packed up and closed up our rental in Phoenix. We headed south and stopped at SanTan Brewing in Chandler. They have a nice brewery and restaurant in the historic downtown area. We enjoyed a delicious brunch and I had a 5 oz. sample of the Orange Alien and a 5 oz. of Super Jack.

We walked around downtown Chandler for a few minutes and looked in a few shops. It was a nice day and Chandler has a nice downtown. From Chandler it was less than 3 hours to get to Sierra Vista. We had early check in and we got there around 2:30. It is a nice rental. Not too fancy, but it has everything we need. We unloaded and got settled. We went to Safeway and loaded up on groceries.
We heard from Mary and Mike. They were staying with some friends and they went to Bisbee for the day. They were coming to Sierra Vista and were going to supper at Pizzaria Mimosa. It is in the south part of Sierra Vista and only about 15 minutes away. We drove and met them there. It was nice to see them again and to meet their friends. We had a nice meal of Italian dishes (I had a calzone) and some wine and beer. It had been a long day so we said good night and headed back to our rental.
