Our second day started at Kinkaider. We had some complimentary muffins and tea and hot chocolate. We cleaned up and packed up and headed out.

It was a few hours to Parts and Labor Brewing in Sterling, CO. Karla had the pesto chicken that was pretty good and I had the hot mess burger that was really good. They were out of our first choice beers but we found a selection that was good.

We gained an hour so we got to Denver in the early afternoon. We had some time to fill so I checked the Denver Art Museum. When we saw they had a Maurice Sendak exhibit we went to check that out. The ticket price was a little higher than other exhibits, but it was worth it. There were hundreds of pieces of original art including all of the art from Where the Wild Things Are.

We looked around the museum a little more and then went and checked into our hotel.

After a little down time at the hotel, we went to a Halloween block party that Lauren told us about. We got to see Lauren, Walker, Marin and Archie in their Peter Pan themed costumes. It was short but I am glad we got to see them. Maybe we will connect again in Phoenix.

Karla and I went to Bull and Bush to get some food and beer. Service was great and we had some tasty food and a few satisfying beers.

We took an Uber back to the hotel and as soon as we got to the lobby, I realized my phone must have fallen out of my pocket. There were some tense and frustrating moments, but I was able to use my laptop to contact the driver and he brought my phone back. Whew.

We settled down and watched Halloween (the 2018 version).
