August 25 to 28 our friend Ben came to visit us.

On Monday everyone took it easy in the morning and we grilled some brats for lunch. It was a beautiful day and that afternoon we went out fishing. It may have even been a little too hot for fishing, but we had fun and caught a couple small ones that we threw back.

That evening we grilled steaks and had a nice evening on the deck overlooking Widow Lake. Later we went out to the studio and listened to records and talked music.

On Tuesday I had to work but Karla and Ben went out fishing again. When I was done with work, we all went to Hackensack. First we took a picture with Lucette and then we went to the Hack Muni for a beer.

After our beer we went to Rendezvous brewing. We got some pizza from Happy Pizza and got a table in the game room. A few other people joined us on our team for trivia. We had a really good night (especially Karla and Ben) and we finished in first place.

Wednesday Ben left and went back to Pine Island. It was a lot of fun and I am glad he visited.
