I forgot to mention trivia. We have played three times at Rendezvous Brewing in Hackensack. The first week we did really good. Karla was on fire. At the end of the game, we were tied with another team with six players. Both teams were given 100 points to bet on a final question. We wrote down our wager and waited for the question. The question was: what was the last letter added to the English alphabet? Both teams turned in their answers. Both teams guessed the letter Q. The correct answer was J. The team of six wagered all 100 points. We wagered 95. We still had five points and won the game.

Our second game at Rendezvous was not as good. We started slow but picked up steam in the later rounds. We got every question in the last rounds correct and aced the picture round. We ended up in the middle.

Our last week was even worse. We were slow again in the first rounds. We were last by several points going into the final picture round. Fortunately for us, it was pictures of musicians. We got every one correct. We may have been the only team to get them all. We made up some ground and tied for last.

It was great winning the first time we played, but we still have fun, even when we finish last. It is just the two of us, so the larger teams have an advantage. But it seems like every week we get a question correct that no one else in the room knows.
