As I mentioned in my last post, July was busy.
Right away on the first of July was the big bike ride. I had some problems with my shifter so I missed the first leg from Mic’s to Revel Brewing. But Al and I drove ahead, got my bike fixed, and only had to wait a little at Revel for Mic, Mike and Scott to show up. We had some pizza and beer and I joined them for the next leg to Portage Brewing. It was a beautiful day and a great ride. We made a short stop in Nevis and a longer break in Akley. Al drove ahead and got on his bike and biked towards us until he met us and biked back to the stop. We had a couple beers at Portage and then did the last leg to Rendezvous Brewing. The last leg was a little harder but everyone made it and it was a lot of fun.
For the 4th of July we went on the new pontoon on Woman Lake and watched the fireworks in Longville.
The second weekend of July we went to the Austin v. Minnesota soccer match in St. Paul. We stayed at Ken and Janelle’s in Shakopee and hung out with a lot of family and friends. Austin won and Ethan had an assist in his 300th game.
Our friend Lauren came for an overnight and we had a lot of fun on the pontoon, drinking beer and listening to records.
Our friend Donna came for a couple days. She painted our bathroom and it looks so much better. We also had fun on the pontoon and drinking beer and wine. We went to the Long Pine (it was the first time for Karla and I) and Donna introduced use to her friend Jeff.
We finished the paneling in the new room.
Our friends Andy & Terry visited for a couple days. More fun on the pontoon and drinking.
