Thursday morning was cold, wet and windy. We drove the rest of the way across South Dakota and into Minnesota. We went a little out of the way so we could have lunch at Sleepy Eye Brewing Company. It was worth the extra time. We continued on to Pine Island to our friend Ben’s house. From there Ben drove us to South X SouthEast Brewing. It was great to catch up with Ben and sample a few enjoyable beers. We got some food at the Trailhead Grill & Lanes and went back to Ben’s. He played us some songs on his guitar. I am amazed at the number of songs he knows.

Friday it was nice to sleep in a little. Ben drove us to John Hardy’s BBQ in Rochester and we had some delicious BBQ. After we went to Little Thistle Brewing for a beer.

Ben drove us back to his place. We packed up and drove to St. Cloud. We are not going to travel tomorrow, but on Sunday we are going to drive up north and see if we can make it to our place. I am afraid there will still be snow and ice on the road. Hopefully, in another week, we will be able to go home.
