Wyoming

Today we spent the day driving from the southwest corner of Wyoming to the northeast corner of Wyoming. There was a lot of empty prairies and some stretches of rough road. But there were some amazing mountain views, rock formations, and lots of pronghorn antelope.
We stopped in Casper for lunch at the Branding Iron for some delicious salads. Downtown Casper was nice and we walked to Black Tooth Brewing for a beer.

We kept going and checked into the La Quinta in Gillette, WY. After we got settled in, we went to the Big Lost Meadery and Brewery. They have some really interesting meads and some good beer. We ordered some burgers from the Ranch and Roost next door and they brought them over. Good burgers and outstanding tater kegs.

We went back to the hotel and hung out in the hot tub and pool before retiring to the room.
