Winslow & Scottsdale

Packed up, left Albuquerque and headed west. Stopped in Gallup, NM for gas. Stopped in Winslow, AZ for lunch at RelicRoad Brewery. However, RelicRoad Brewery is still working on their brewing system, so they were not brewing yet and it does not count as a brewery on my brewery map. The food was good and maybe some day we will be back to try their beer. After lunch, we joked about standing on a corner and taking a picture. We went around the corner and there was a complete setting for the picture. Including a flat bed ford and some statues. It was a fun stop.

We went though some interesting landscapes and some twisty, hilling roads through New Mexico and Arizona. A few more hours in the road and we were in Scottsdale. The total mileage from St. Cloud to Scottsdale was 1,758 miles.

We unloaded the truck and got settled in our Airbnb in Scottsdale. Karla got everything arranged in the kitchen and I set up a place for me to work. After a while we went out and walked to The Beverly on Main. We sat at the bar and got some food and drinks. Not much of a beer list, but the brussels sprouts and the filet bites were delicious. On our way back we stopped at Craft 64. They have their own beer and an excellent selection of guest taps. We tried a few and I think I will be back.

We will be in Scottsdale for a while so I may not be posting many updates. Maybe after a day trip. Click on the Follow button and enter your email to get an email notification of any new posts. Or, come visit us and I can include you in the blog.
