I know it is October, but I am going to try to fill in some stuff from this summer.

At the beginning of June we went to Cannon Falls for Sam & Rachel’s wedding. We were on the road for about an hour when we realized we had forgotten our wedding clothes. We thought for a moment about our options and turned around and got our stuff. I had plans for a place to stop for lunch, but we lost two hours and had to drive straight through. We made it in time and it was good to see all the Ludzacks and family at the wedding. The next day we explored Cannon Falls and went to Tilion Brewing for some tasty beer, The Mill Street Tavern for some tasty food and the Cannon River Winery . . because we could.

After a long cold spring, it was good to have some nice weather in June at the lake. It was mostly projects around the lake and hanging out with friends and family. We had one of the beams under our home replaced. It needed to be done and now our sliding glass door slides easily. At the end of June I went to Mic’s for the annual guy’s boot camp weekend.

Karla’s sister Kathy and their mom came for the 4th of July. We went to Longville for their parade but it was busy and we only stayed for a little while. We took Darlene to spend the afternoon with my mom and Karla, Kathy and I went to Hackensack. We saw the boat parade and then we went to the Hack Muni for drinks and pizza. It was a fun afternoon.
