June 14, 2022
We moved into our place May 7. We were there a couple times in the days before to clean, move some of our stuff and get the water running. The pump started right up but there was a little ice in one of the pipes. I used a heater to thaw it out and everything was good.
We had some strong winds and there were a few downed trees to clean up.
I went to the new office in St. Cloud. It was my first time in an official work office since November 14, 2019!
Our plans to got to St. Paul to see Runestone! A Rock Musical at the History Theatre were canceled because of COVID. So we went exploring near our home. We had lunch at the Anchorage Inn, went hiking on the Washburn Lake Ski Trail (there was a lot of water on the trail and we had to go through the woods in a few areas), stopped for a drink at Channel Bar & Grill in Outing and made our last stop at Thunder Lake’s Deer Haven for some more drinks and some food.
We went to New Orleans for our niece Kelsey’s wedding. It was great to see a lot of the Ludzacks and our fiends who live in New Orleans. We did a of of walking and had some great food and drinks.
We got the boats in the water and are ready for summer. It is half way through June and it looks like we are going to get some hot weather.
