Before leaving Tupelo, we drove past the Elvis birthplace. It was early so it was not open but we saw the house.
On the way north we stopped in New Madrid. It was just a quick stop as it was cold and we wanted to keep moving, but I am glad we did it.
Then we went to Minglewood Brewery in Cape Girardeau. It was a good stop with a couple tasty beers and some good food. We did not spend a lot of time in town but it looked interesting.
A little more driving and we were in St. Louis. It was cold and a little rainy.
We had some time before our dinner reservations so we went to 4 Hands Brewing. We sampled a couple good beers and got some tall boys to go. From there we went to Square One Brewery and Distillery. Our friends were already there. We had some great food, beer and conversation. It was a great evening.
We went back to the hotel and stopped at he hotel bar for a nightcap.
Another good day
