Orange Beach, AL to Hattiesburg, MS. We went to The Porter for lunch. Good salads and a couple beers. As we were checking in with friends, it turns out our friends Wendy & Terry were on a collision course with us. We are going from Alabama to Minnesota and they are going from South Carolina to Texas. And we are all in Tupelo Mississippi tonight. What are the odds? So we made our way to Tupelo listening to the radio to make sure we were not in the path of a tornado. We checked in to our hotel and then went to the Blue Canoe bar. Wendy & Terry met us there and we had a lot of really good food and a good selection of beer. It was great to see them again. We also had a little live music and stayed until the storm passed. Fun place. We were charged for a couple extra beers and even though we said we didn’t have that many, we ended up paying for them anyway. Oh well. We went back to the hotel and stopped at the hotel bar for a nightcap. Tomorrow we head to St. Louis.
