We had a great breakfast at the Kalamazoo House. Karla had stuffed peppers and I had chocolate chip pancakes.
Checked out, loaded up and hit the road again. 53 degrees, odometer at 32,148.
Drove to Fort Wayne and stopped at Gnometown Brewing for lunch. Some good tacos and beer.
Made our way to Covington KY though some backroads of Indiana and Ohio.
Checked into the Hotel Covington. Nice place. Had a beer at the bar and then took a Lyft to KT & Steve’s. Good to see the family and even got a clarinet recital.
Everyone into the van and Steve drove us to Braxton’s. Allison and John were there and we had a couple rounds. KT and Steve and the kids went home. Allison, John, Karla and I went to Libby’s for some tasty food and drink. Then to Hannaford for one more. I had a 12 year old Van Winkle that was amazing.
As we walked downtown Covington, there were some xmas widow displays. They reminded me of the old Dayton’s windows, but some of them were much more creepy.
