WordPress is not letting me upload pictures so you will have to follow the link below to filckr to see some pictures.

We left Hayward a little before 8am this morning. 23 degrees. Odometer was at 31,444.
We drove through northern Wisconsin and into the UP of Michigan. We made a quick stop in Ironwood at Hiawatha, World’s Largest Indian Statue.
Then on to Marquette MI and we went to The Vierling Restaurant & Marquette Harbor Brewery. Good food and beer and interesting old building.
Short drive from Marquette to Munising. We checked into the Roam Inn and did some exploring. We went to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Sand Point Beach, and Munising Falls. It was a short, icy walk to the falls, but I am glad we went.
We went back into town and first went to East Channel Brewing and then to the Barge Inn. We had some tasty beers at East Channel (and I got a 6 pack to go) and behind the Barge Inn was Toby’s Dog House food truck. We decided against hot dogs and got some tacos. Good stuff.
We headed back to the hotel and watched the Gophers beat Pitt and improve their record to 6-0.
