We had a nice drive to Austin on Saturday. We packed up and moved out of our place in South Padre Island. We drove towards Corpus Christi and stopped at Nueces Brewing for lunch. We had some good BBQ and some tasty beers. Took a short detour to Padre Island and Mustang Island and stopped at White Cap Beach. It was cloudy and windy but there were a lot of people there surfing, fishing and just hanging out. We continued to San Antonio and stopped at Weathered Souls Brewing. Awesome beer and some really good roasted Brussels sprouts. We got a couple of cans of beer to go. On to Austin. We are staying in a nice house not far from South Congress. We unpacked and got settled. I picked up some pizza from Toss Pizza just a couple blocks away.
