Day 3

December 6, 2020

Day 3 started a little earlier. We made some oatmeal in the Vineyard Mansion kitchen and ate in the dining room. We did not see anyone else in the mansion during our stay (we heard some). On the road before 8:30 we left Missouri and went across most of Kansas. Just before leaving Kansas we stopped in Independence. We got some hibachi at a food truck and brought it to Indy Brewery. I wish we knew how big the servings were, we could have split one. But it was good and we washed them down with a couple good beers from Indy Brewing. From there it was a short trip to Bartlesville and the Price Tower. We checked in and went on the tour. It was a good tour with the docent and another couple. Got to see a lot of a very interesting building. After the tour we walked to Cooper and Mill Brewing. Nice space and a couple good beers. Back to our room for some relaxing. Then to the Copper Grill and Bar for supper. Karla had chicken and I had salmon. Good stuff. The Christmas parade was going on below but we didn’t pay much attention. After supper we went back to our room for a movie and drinks.
